and Private Duty Nursing Care

Erwine Home Health Aides and Private Duty Nursing Care can provide the services of a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide and Home Health Companion/Housekeeper.

Erwine Home Health Aides and Private Duty Nursing Care is available for any length of time needed on a one hour to twenty-four hour a day basis.

Trained Home Health Aide/Companion/Housekeeper services can be provided in the home, the hospital, assisted living facilities, extended care nursing facilities or wherever personal individualized assistance is necessary to help the patient maintain a daily routine and keep spirits up.

Private Duty RN and LPN nursing care is also available in home and assisted living facilities when the patient is in needs of more skilled medical care.

Erwine Home Health Aide and Private Duty Nursing Services include:

• Registered ( RN ) and Licensed Practical ( LPN ) Nursing Care
• Giving or assisting bathing and shampooing hair
• Light housekeeping
• Preparing meals
• Changing bed linens and keeping bath area clean
• Assisting the patient with mobility
• Laundering clothes or bed linens
• Food Shopping and Medication Pickup

Availability

Services are available to patients in private homes, assisted living facilities and extended care nursing facilities.

Erwine Health Care serves Wilkes-Barre / Scranton, Hazleton, the Poconos and surrounding NEPA counties: Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wyoming, Columbia, Monroe, Bradford, Carbon and Susquehanna.

Related Services

Erwine can also provide skilled medical care when needed. Nurses will attent to the patient, provide the physician with timely feedback on the patient’s condition and effectiveness of the prescribed treatment. For more information please click here.

Erwine Health Care is a Medicare Certified Agency. Erwine is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Division of Home Health Services, Medicare and Commercial Insurance and is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Home Health Agencies. Erwine also received Joint Commission Accreditation with Commendation in 1995 and again in 1998, 2001 and 2004. Erwine received CHAP Accreditation in 2006.
